Summer Skin

When you’re younger and in school summer never seems long enough. Mostly because it isn’t, 10 months of school to be followed by only 2 months of summer is definitely not enough. When I got to college I was pretty sure I’d think the summer was too long, especially to add on to the 6 weeks for winter break, and one week for spring break. I thought I would feel like I was never here.
But this summer went by faster than any high school, middle school, or elementary school summer, and it was twice as long as any of those. Three and a half months went by in what seems like a week, and I’m back at school and unlike what I thought I would feel, it felt like I never left. I suppose that’s a good thing though.
This was the best summer I’ve ever had, and now that I’m back at school I’m sure I’ll be pissed off a lot more, which makes for better blogs. Lucky you.
